  • 1 x Packet of GR Gourmet English Sage, Garden Herb and Red Onion Stuffing Mix (125g)
  • 250ml Water
  • 455g Sausage Meat
  • 454g Streaky Bacon

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180℃/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Pour the contents of a pack of GR English Sage, Garden Herb and Red Onion Stuffing Mix in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add 250ml of boiling water and mix thoroughly.
  4. Leave to stand until the water is absorbed then gently remix.
  5. Line a loaf tin with cling film and layer with the streaky bacon to cover the base, sides and overhang the edges.
  6. Layer half the stuffing mix into the bottom of the loaf tin, then the sausage meat and a final layer of stuffing.
  7. Press down firmly to ensure the tin is full and air pockets expelled.
  8. Fold the overhanging streaky bacon over the top layer of the stuffing loaf to encase and press firmly.
  9. Chill to form, then carefully tip the loaf from the loaf tin, place on a greased baking tray and remove cling film.
  10. Bake for 40-45 mins.
