Three Bean Chilli Non Carne

Shopping List

  • 1 x packet of V and Easy Chilli Non Carne Recipe Sauce Mix
  • 1 x 300g tin haricot beans
  • 1 x 300g tin red kidney beans
  • 1 x 300g tin borlotti beans
  • 1 x onion, diced
  • 1 x red pepper, chopped
  • 1 x green pepper, chopped
  • 1 x yellow pepper, chopped
  • 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 x tbsp of tomato puree
  • 150ml water

Method

  1. Drain the tins of beans and add to your slow cooker pot with the tomatoes, tomato puree, peppers and onion.
  2. Blend the V and Easy Chilli Non Carne Recipe Sauce Mix with the water, add to the slow cooker pot, stir thoroughly.
  3. Cover and cook for 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on low until the vegetables are tender and cooked through (keep covered during cooking, cooking times may vary between slow cooker models).
  4. Remove the lid & stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Top Tip – Gordon Recommends serving with rice or jacket potato with a dollop of guacamole
