Butter Bean Stew

Shopping List

  • 1 x Pack Gordon’s Glorious Goulash Gourmet Sauce Mix
  • 2 x Tins (400g each) Butter Beans
  • 1 Large Onion, diced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, sliced
  • 1 Tin (400g) Tinned Tomatoes
  • 400ml Water
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) Tomato Puree
  • 200g Vegan Feta Cheese
  • Chopped Parsley to garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Place the drained butter beans, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and tomato puree into your slow cooker pot.
  2. Blend the Goulash Sauce Mix with the water (400ml) and add to the slow cooker pot. Stir thoroughly.
  3. Cover and cook for 3 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on MEDIUM (keep covered during cooking: cooking times may vary between slow cooker models).
  4. Remove the lid and stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve topped with crumbled Vegan feta cheese and scattered with fresh parsley (optional)
