  • 1 x Jolly Fine Apple, Apricot & Bay Leaf Stuffing Mix
  • 500g Pork Mince
  • 150g Apple Sauce
  • 10-12 Mini Brioche Burger Buns / Slider Buns
  • 5-6 Slices of Cheddar, cut to size
  • 250ml Boiling Water
  • Handful of Rocket, to serve (optional)
  • 10-12 Pigs in Blankets / Onion Rings / Gherkins, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 190⁰C (fan)/210⁰C.
  2. Place the entire contents of your stuffing mix into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water. Stir thoroughly.
  3. Allow the mix to absorb the water and allow it to cool.
  4. Add the pork mince to the mixing bowl. Use your hands to mix until it’s completely blended.
  5. Form the mixture into 10-12 patties to fit the mini buns.
  6. Allow the patties to cool and firm in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  7. Transfer the patties to a baking tray, adding a slice of cheddar to each patty, and finish cooking in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Slice the buns in half, adding a dollop of the apple sauce and rocket to the bread. Place the pork and stuffing burger, adding the top of the burger bun.

Top Tip – Use cocktail sticks to hold together and pin a pig in a blanket / onion ring / gherkin on top!
